Materials (±2mm):
Tabletop | Wood: 2,5cm thick, specially selected, solid oak wood. It has various shades, dark knots and bright lines across the tabletop. Each product is made to order; therefore, depending on the batch of wood, it also has its own unique features, colour, wood grain, and FSC certificate.
Overhang: a table with an overhang
Table top’s pattern: standard pattern (the boards are arranged in one direction)
The table top’s finish: smooth wood
Impregnation: bleached, the tabletop is protected with natural, bleached wood oils
Table base: 2,5 x 2,5cm steel profiles, powder-coated in glossy white

Two elements make up the handmade dining table BASIC FEM: a wooden top and a steel frame. When producing our table, we choose unique batches of materials that are carefully selected by our craftsmen. Each created table top is unique. However, they all have common features, such as light or dark lines visible lengthwise and crosswise, small and large knots, cracks and other individual characteristics. The top of the modern dining table BASIC FEM is made of smooth, bleached oak wood that is protected with natural, environmentally friendly oils. The natural grain of the wood and colour differences are gently visible. The rectangular table BASIC FEM is stable and functional and was created to serve its users. Its design is universal and timeless, and its Scandinavian character adds charm and lightness.

At first I wasn’t ready to buy, Artur understood and didn’t pressurise. He answered all my queries. When I was ready he was there online in real-time to take me through the bank transfer. The lead in time is clearly mentioned on the website but it was a an unexpected but delightful suprise when Artur contacted me well in advance to finalise the delivery details. The person responsible for the delivery was highly professional. The table in situ is absolutely beautiful. The design and production demonstrates taste and judgment. I had researched the market thoroughly but did not identify another product with this finesse. The table is a work of art and I cannot stop staring at it.
